This past race weekend was another important step forward—one of those weekends where the results might not jump off the page, but the progress definitely does.

Race 1 was a bit of a grind. I didn’t quite have the pace early on and found myself starting back in P13. The race ended up coming to me, though, and by staying consistent and keeping it clean, I was able to work my way forward and finish P9. Not flashy, but a solid recovery and my first real sign that things are starting to click.

Race 2 felt dialed. I actually had pace and was running up in P7, on track for an even stronger finish. Unfortunately, a small mistake with a dirt drop led to a poor exit, and I lost a couple of positions as a result. Frustrating, but also encouraging, because the speed was finally there.

Across the weekend, the biggest takeaway was learning. We uncovered a lot about the car setup, and it showed on track; I was able to improve by nearly three seconds over the course of the weekend. I also managed to crack the top 10, with P9 being my best finish so far.

No crazy results yet, but we’re moving in the right direction. The progress is real, and it’s coming.

A huge thank you to all of my sponsors and supporters for believing in me and making it possible to be out here competing. Special thank you to my friend Matthew Holbach (@willhell) for coming out to hang out with me and be my mechanic during this event.

Thanks to John Willie from JW Power Media for this badas reel!
