About

Sergio Orestes Perez Racing headshot

I’m Sergio Orestes, a Mexican racing driver based in San Diego, California. Unlike many racing prodigies who start from a very young age, I began karting at age 13, and by 18, I had already run out of budget.
But instead of stepping away, I stayed in the motorsport world as a mechanic and factory driver, learning every technical and performance detail that makes a race car fast.

That decision to keep racing in any form paid off. Over the years, I’ve worked my way up through the ranks, earning opportunities to compete in both touring cars and open-wheel machines, including my first USF2000 test in December 2024.

I’m currently competing in the Western Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and the Gridlife Touring Cup (GLTC) with the goal of securing a professional seat in Touring Car America (TCA) or The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in the near future.

If you’re interested in partnering or sponsoring, I’d love to connect and discuss how we can build visibility together through race coverage, content, and on-car branding.

Some of my Recent achievements include:

Podium at Tri-C Karters 100cc Senior (July 2021)

Win at SoCal 86 Cup Round 8 (August 2024)

Test in USF2000 car (December 2024)

Second place at Global Time Attack (November 2024)

Win at SCCA Time Trial Nationals (February 2025)
