We were gonna take this weekend off, but instead decided to hit up our local kart club race. This weekend they were running at Adam’s motorsports park. I work as a factory driver for Jhmotorsports, so I get to drive a lot, wether it be for driver coaching or lead and follow sessions, but I rarely ever actually race so we decided to give it a go.
Managed to get a decent qualifying and got p5. Worked my way up to p3 during the heat race.
During the main I started having some engine trouble where it was cutting out or misfiring, but defending at Adam’s is pretty easy so I managed to just survive right on the podium in third .
I’m really proud of this result because even though I participate in other forms of motorsport, I still believe karting is the most challenging Motorsport.
